CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 3 (UPI) -- Charlotte Bobcats center DeSagana Diop is out for the rest of the season with a ruptured right Achilles tendon, the team said Monday.
The 7-foot Diop hurt his tendon during Friday's 96-95 loss to the Golden State Warriors, and a magnetic resonance imaging test confirmed the severity of the injury.
