BALTIMORE, Jan. 2 (UPI) -- Ray Rice's 7-yard scoring run in the third quarter proved decisive Sunday in the Baltimore Ravens' 13-7 decision over Cincinnati.

Rice's touchdown put the Ravens up 13-0 with 5:47 to go in the frame and Baltimore hung on for the victory in the regular-season finales for both teams.

Rice ended with 77 rushing yards and Joe Flacco finished 14-of-19 passing for 125 yards with one interception for Baltimore (12-4), which settled for the fifth seed in the AFC after Pittsburgh claimed the AFC North crown with a win Sunday.

Ed Reed made a pair of interceptions for the Ravens before leaving with an undisclosed injury in the second half.

The Bengals (4-12) got 305 passing yards from Carson Palmer and Jerome Simpson added 12 receptions for 123 yards with a TD but also fumbled away two catches in the loss.
