NBA: Oklahoma City 114, New Jersey 93

OKLAHOMA CITY, Dec. 29 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant led Oklahoma City to a dominating performance in the middle two quarters Wednesday and the Thunder coasted to a 114-93 win over New Jersey.

Durant scored 27 points and Oklahoma City forced 23 turnovers while sending the Nets to their third straight loss.

It was a tie contest after one period but the Thunder rushed to an 11-point halftime lead and owned an 18-point advantage heading into the fourth period.

Russell Westbrook had 17 points and seven assists for Oklahoma City.

Devin Harris and Brook Lopez both scored 19 points for New Jersey.

Oklahoma City has won its last five meetings with the Nets.
