LOS ANGELES, Dec. 27 (UPI) -- Dustin Brown got a goal and an assist during a four-goal, second-period outburst Sunday that sent the Los Angeles Kings past Anaheim 4-1.

Brown, Wayne Simmonds, Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams all found the net in the big period, which handed the Kings their third straight win.

Jonathan Bernier had to make only 18 saves for the Kings and faced only three shots in the final period.

Matt Beleskey got the only marker for the Ducks and Jonas Hiller turned aside 19-of-23 shots before being benched in favor of Curtis McElhinney, who recorded seven saves.
