
AUBURN HILLS, Mich., Dec. 26 (UPI) -- Chicago's Carlos Boozer scored four of his 31 points in overtime Sunday and the Bulls edged Detroit 95-92.
Boozer's layup off a Derrick Rose assist with 40 seconds left in the extra period gave Chicago a three-point lead at 93-90 and Kyle Korver sank a pair of free throws in the final seconds to secure the win.
Charlie Villanueva, who ended with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Pistons, missed a potential tying 3-pointer at the buzzer.
Boozer grabbed 11 rebounds and Rose contributed 23 points, 12 rebounds and eight assists for Chicago, which registered its third win in four games.
Tayshaun Prince led Detroit with 17 points. Rodney Stuckey added 16 and Tracy McGrady and Richard Hamilton each had 15 in Detroit's loss.
