Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
TORONTO, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- A career high six 3-pointers by Richard Hamilton Wednesday helped lift Detroit to a 115-93 win over Toronto.
Hamilton scored 35 points, his largest point total of the season, and the Pistons ended an eight-game road losing streak. Detroit's previous road triumph was Nov. 14.
Detroit took an 18-point halftime lead and coasted over the final two periods.
Rodney Stuckey chipped in 21 points for the Pistons and Charlie Villanueva had 18. Detroit's Ben Wallace played in his 1,000th NBA game and scored four points.
Toronto, which has lost two in a row and eight of 10, got 21 points from Leandro Barbosa and 19 from Linas Kleiza. Detroit seized on 24 turnovers by the Raptors to score 41 points.
