INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Indianapolis wide receiver Austin Collie's season is over with the Colts saying Wednesday he's been placed on injured reserve following a second concussion.

Collie came down awkwardly on his neck in the Colts' game against Jacksonville Sunday. He also sustained a concussion in Week 9 against Philadelphia that caused him to miss four games.

The second-year pro had eight receptions for 87 yards and two touchdowns before leaving with the game Sunday. For the season, he had 58 catches for 649 yards and eight touchdowns in nine games.

The Colts also said they have signed veteran defensive back Ken Hamlin, who was let go by Baltimore three weeks ago.

Indianapolis and Jacksonville sit atop the AFC South with 8-6 records.
