Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
HONOLULU, Dec. 22 (UPI) -- Quincy Acy and Anthony Jones each scored 14 points Wednesday and No. 15 Baylor routed San Diego 83-50 in the quarterfinals of the Diamond Head Classic.
The pair led five Bears players scoring in double figures. LaceDarius Dunn chipped in with 13 points, Perry Jones III added 11 and Nolan Dennis contributed 10 for Baylor (8-1).
The Bears bounced back in Honolulu after absorbing their first defeat of the season against Gonzaga last weekend.
The Toreros (2-9) got 10 points from Ken Rancifer and Trevor Fuller chipped in with eight.
