HARTFORD, Conn., Dec. 21 (UPI) -- The Connecticut women's basketball team broke UCLA's NCAA Division I mark with their 89th straight victory Tuesday, a 93-62 decision over Florida State.

Maya Moore scored 41 points and grabbed 10 rebounds and Bria Hartley chipped in with 21 points, going 5-of-5 from 3-point territory, for the Huskies, who broke the record set by Coach John Wooden's UCLA men's team from 1971-74.

Top-ranked Connecticut (11-0) extended its own women's win streak record with the victory.

Moore's 41 points was a career high and Hartley went 8-for-9 form the field for the Huskies.

UConn hasn't lost since reaching semifinals of the 2008 NCAA tournament.
