OAKLAND, Calif., Dec. 21 (UPI) -- Kevin Martin
struck for 30 points and all five Houston starters scored in double figures Monday in the Rockets' 121-112 win over Golden State.
Luis Scola added 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and distributed six assists for Houston, which also got 14 points from Shane Battier, 13 from Kyle Lowrie and 12 from Chuck Hayes.
Martin's 3-pointer with 4:50 left in the game gave Houston the lead for good at 99-96 and he added a slam dunk less than 2 minutes later for a five-point advantage.
Battier's trey with 2:41 left put the Rockets up 106-101 and essentially iced the victory, the Rockets' fifth in six games.
Monta Ellis poured in 44 points, going 15-of-20 from the field and dishing off seven assists in the Warriors' setback, their 11th loss in 12 contests against Houston.
