NHL: Anaheim 3, Boston 0

BOSTON, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Jonas Hiller withstood a 45-shot Boston barrage Monday, registering his second shutout of the season in the Anaheim Ducks' 3-0 win over the Bruins.

Hiller picked up his eighth career whitewash, facing down 18 shots apiece in the second and third periods and withstanding a pair of Bruins power plays to earn the victory.

The Ducks picked up a goal and an assist from Brandon McMillan and a goal apiece from Lubomir Visnovsky and Corey Perry.

Tim Thomas let in three goals on 25 shots in the Bruins' fourth loss in their last five games.
