Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

ATLANTA, Dec. 20 (UPI) -- Al Horford scored 24 points and Joe Johnson added 17 Monday, boosting the Atlanta Hawks to a 91-81 win over trade-retooled Orlando.
The Magic were playing for the first time with all their new acquisitions, picked up in a pair of trades Saturday, including Gilbert Arenas, Jason Richardson, Hedo Turkoglu and Earl Clark.
Horford grabbed 11 rebounds, Mike Bibby contributed 15 points and Josh Smith and Marvin Williams each added 12 in the win.
The Magic, who lost for the seventh time in eight games, didn't get much production from the newcomers -- Arenas scored 10 points, Richardson added nine and Turkoglu notched eight.
Dwight Howard led Orlando with 19 points and 20 rebounds.
