CHICAGO, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Duncan Keith and Fernando Pisani scored second-period goals for Chicago Sunday and the Blackhawks went on to defeat Los Angeles 3-2.
Keith scored on a long slap shot 1:59 into the middle frame, coming only 25 seconds after the Kings' Kyle Clifford had tied the score 1-1 on a nice move around the net past Corey Crawford.
Pisani added what turned out to be the game-winner 12:25 into the second, scoring on a 3-on-1 break to help the Blackhawks win their second straight after a breaking a three-game skid.
Crawford made 26 saves and Jonathan Toews also scored for Chicago.
Wayne Simmonds scored early in third period to make it a one-goal game but the Kings could come no closer.
Jonathan Quick turned aside 21-of-24 shots for Los Angeles.
