INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 19 (UPI) -- Peyton Manning tossed two touchdowns and David Brown added 129 rushing yards and a score Sunday in the Indianapolis Colts' 34-24 win over Jacksonville.
Manning threw for 229 yards, hooking up twice with Austin Collie on first-half scoring strikes of seven and 27 yards for Indianapolis (8-6), who denied the Jaguars a chance to clinch the AFC South and took control of their own postseason fate with the win.
The Colts played a tough defense, holding Jacksonville's usually dominant running game to only 67 yards.
David Garrard was held to 294 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for Jacksonville (8-6), which lost for only the second time in seven games.
Mike Thomas scored on a 78-yard punt return late in the first half but also lost a key fumble in the Jags' setback.
