Eli Manning went 22-of-37 passing for 187 yards, hurling a 6-yard TD pass to Kevin Boss with 3 seconds remaining in the first half and surviving a pair of interceptions.

The Giants' defense came up big, holding the Vikings to only 164 yards in total offense.

The contest was a home game for Minnesota (5-8), which was forced to play at Ford Field after snow from a weekend blizzard in Minneapolis collapsed the fabric roof of the Metrodome early Sunday.

The Giants were stranded in Kansas City Saturday after their flight was diverted due to the snowstorm.

Vikings quarterback Brett Favre was scratched due to a sprained shoulder, snapping his NFL-record 297-game consecutive games-played streak.
