
LOS ANGELES, Dec. 13 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard netted 22 points and all five Orlando starters reached double figures Sunday in the Magic's 94-85 win over the Los Angeles Clippers.
Howard went 8-of-11 from the field and grabbed seven rebounds. Jameer Nelson added 17 points and nine assists for the Magic, who broke a four-game losing streak.
Vince Carter and Brandon Bass contributed 13 points each and Rashard Lewis chipped in 11 more in the victory.
Orlando was leading 8-5 early in the game when Bass's slam dunk ignited a decisive 20-5 Magic run, capped by Nelson's trey with 2:35 remaining in the first quarter.
Eric Gordon (28 points, eight assists) cut the Clippers' deficit to single digits at 74-66 and Blake Griffin (27 points, 16 rebounds) added another Los Angeles bucket with 9 minutes left in the game.
But the Magic responded 7-2 run to ice the win.
