NHL: Anaheim 6, Minnesota 2

ANAHEIM, Calif., Dec. 12 (UPI) -- Corey Perry scored a hat trick and assisted on two other goals Sunday, sparking the Anaheim Ducks to a 6-2 rout of Minnesota.

Perry got Anaheim's first goal only 19 seconds into the contest and the Ducks were never headed as they improved to 3-0-1 in their last four games.

Perry also scored in the second and third periods and assisted on a pair of tallies by Ryan Getzlaf. Bobby Ryan added a goal and two assists in the one-sided win.

Jonas Hiller stopped 20-of-22 shots for Anaheim.

Brent Burns and Marek Zidlicky scored for Minnesota, which finished a three-game Pacific Division road trip with a 2-1 record.

Nicklas Backstrom was bombed for six goals on 36 Ducks shots in the Wild's setback.
