SAN ANTONIO, Dec. 12 (UPI) -- George Hill collected 22 points and Manu Ginobili added 18 Sunday in the San Antonio Spurs' 95-78 decision over the Portland Trail Blazers.
The Spurs cruised to their fifth straight win and 19th of their last 21 games thanks, in part, to 14 points from Tony Parker as well as eight points and 13 rebounds from Tim Duncan.
After Antonio McDyess hit a jumper in the closing seconds to give San Antonio a 50-40 lead going into halftime, a pair of dunks and a jumper by Lucas Aldridge pulled the Trail Blazers to within five at 57-52 with 6:37 left in the third.
But the Spurs then went on a 9-0 run, virtually icing the game at 66-52 with 3:18 left in the frame.
Portland, which saw its four-game winning streak snapped, got 17 points from Wesley Matthews and Aldridge added 16.
