Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

NAPLES, Fla., Dec. 12 (UPI) -- The team of Dustin Johnson and Ian Poulter came from behind to claim the Shark Shootout Sunday, carding a 13-under 59 for a two-stroke victory.
Poulter and Johnson completed three rounds with at 30-under 186, notching the first win of the event for both golfers.
Second place went to Darren Clarke and U.S. Open champion Graeme McDowell. They also shot 59 at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla., ending at minus-28.
Defending champions Jerry Kelly and Steve Stricker registered an 8-under 64 Sunday, joining Chris DiMarco and Anthony Kim (61) in third place at 26-under 160.
Sunday's final round came in the form of a scramble, where the best shots of the two team members were selected on each hole.
