NASHVILLE, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- Anders Lindback earned the first shutout of his career Saturday, turning aside 22 shots to carry the Nashville Predators to a 3-0 win over Florida.

Lindback got 10 of his saves in a busy third period as the Panthers struggled to get back into the game. Instead, the goalie backstopped the Predators to their fifth win in six games.

Ryan Suter scored 1:14 into the game to give Nashville all the offense it would need. Shea Weber and Joel Ward also scored.

Florida's Tomas Vokoun turned aside 24-of-26 shots.
