NBA: Oklahoma City 97, New Orleans 92

NEW ORLEANS, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Kevin Durant made two free throws with 10 seconds remaining Friday to clinch a 97-92 victory for the Oklahoma City Thunder over New Orleans.

The game was deadlocked midway through the fourth quarter but the Thunder eased in front on their way to a second straight win. The Hornets have just four victories in their last 11 contests.

Marco Belinelli made a layup with 49 seconds to play that brought the Hornets within three points and Durant then missed a jumper.

New Orleans went to Belinelli again in an attempt to tie it but he missed a 3-pointer with 11 seconds remaining and Durant was fouled after he grabbed the rebound. Durant's two free throws clinched the victory and left him with 25 points.

Russell Westbrook led Oklahoma in scoring with 29. He made 10-of-18 from the field and 7-of-8 from the foul line.

David West had 24 points and 13 rebounds for New Orleans, which has suffered only three home losses this season.
