SUNRISE, Fla., Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Stephen Weiss tallied the game-winner 43 seconds into overtime Tuesday, boosting the Florida Panthers to a 4-3 victory over Colorado.

Weiss collected the rebound of a David Booth slapshot and launched a wild shot while falling away from net that found its way past Craig Anderson for the game winner.

Weiss had a goal in regulation time, Booth scored a goal to go with his assist on the game-winner and Bill Thomas chipped in with a marker for Florida, which took its second straight.

Tomas Vokoun collected his 10th win of the season with 22 saves for Florida.

The Avalanche, who lost their fourth consecutive game, benefited from goals by John-Michael Liles, Matt Duchene and Daniel Winnik.

Anderson ended up making 21 saves in the setback.
