BOSTON, Dec. 7 (UPI) -- Mark Recchi's power-play goal 2:11 into overtime Tuesday handed the Boston Bruins a 3-2 victory over Buffalo.
With Buffalo's Luke Adam off on a high-sticking double-minor, Dennis Seidenberg unleashed a bullet from high in the crease as Recchi set up a screen in front of Ryan Miller and tipped it past him for the game-winner.

The Buffalo goalie complained that Recchi was in the crease but after a video review, the score was upheld and the Bruins had their third win in four games.
Milan Lucic and Nathan Horton also scored and Tim Thomas turned aside 28-of-30 shots for Boston.
Thomas Vanek and Luke Adam scored for the Sabres, who got 33 saves from Miller.
