COLUMBUS, Ohio, Dec. 6 (UPI) -- Rick Nash forced overtime with a last-minute goal and Kyle Wilson got the shootout winner Monday in the Columbus Blue Jackets' 3-2 victory over Dallas.
Trailing 2-1 with 47 seconds left in regulation, the Blue Jackets tied the game while on a power play, when Nash got a pass from Anton Stralman in the right circle, skated in and fired a wrist shot into the net.
After a scoreless overtime, Nash again beat Stars goalie Kari Lehtonen in shootout but Brad Richards evened it for Dallas. Wilson then followed by besting Lehtonen, and Columbus goalie Mathieu Garon made the goal stand up, stopping Jamie Benn to end the game.
Kris Russell got the Blue Jackets' other regulation goal and Garon finished with 16 saves.
Richards and Steve Ott scored in regulation for Dallas, whose six-game winning streak came to an end.
Lehtonen made 27 saves in the setback.
