Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

PHOENIX, Dec. 5 (UPI) -- Steve Nash went 8-for-8 from the field and distributed 17 assists Sunday for the Phoenix Suns in their 125-108 victory over Washington.
Nash finished with 20 points and Hakim Warrick popped in a game-high 26 points off the bench to spark Phoenix to its third straight win.
The Suns led by three at 68-65 early the second half when they broke the contest open with a 12-2 run, sparked by consecutive treys from Nash and Jason Richardson (21 points).
The Wizards, meanwhile, remained winless on the road.
Andray Blatche canned 24 points, Nick Young contributed 20 more and Gilbert Arenas donated 14 in Washington's defeat.
