LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Kobe Bryant scored 22 points in 27 minutes Friday, sending the Los Angeles Lakers coasting past Sacramento 113-80.
The Lakers ended a four-game losing streak, their longest in four seasons and only the 11th such skid in the 20-year coaching career of Phil Jackson.
Los Angeles led by five points after one period, 17 points after two and 30 points heading into the fourth quarter. The Lakers shot 57 percent from the field and forced 19 turnovers.
Lamar Odom and Pau Gasol both had 16 points for the Lakers, who will play two games at home before leaving on a seven-game road trip that will last until the week of Christmas. Three of their four straight losses came on the road.
Sacramento, which has dropped six consecutive games, got 19 points from Jason Thompson.
