Spradling's two foul shots with 16 seconds left gave Kansas State a four-point lead, which was cut in half by Klay Thompson's dunk with 10 seconds remaining. After Pullen hit two free throws to restore the four-point cushion with 9 seconds left, a missed 3-pointer by Thompson sealed the loss for Washington State.

Pullen added a free throw with 3 seconds to play.

Kelly and Rodney McGruder both scored 15 points to lead the Wildcats (7-1), whose only loss has come against No. 1 Duke.

Washington State, which lost for the first time in six games this season, was paced by Thompson with 16 points.
