Boxing promoter's wife dies in Florida

BOCA RATON, Fla., Dec. 4 (UPI) -- The wife of boxing promoter Don King has died at a hospice in Florida, the famed promoter's spokesman said.

Henrietta King, 87, died at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, The Palm Beach (Fla.) Post reported.

King spokesman Robert Weneck said the cause of death was stomach cancer, and that her family was with her when she died Thursday.

The Kings have been married more than 50 years.

Survivors include her husband, and three children, Carl, 52; Debbie, 47; and Eric, 57.

No additional details were given.
