NEWARK, N.J., Dec. 1 (UPI) -- Russell Westbrook scored all 13 of Oklahoma City's points in the third overtime Wednesday, boosting the Thunder past New Jersey 123-120.
Westbrook hit two free throws with 7 seconds left in the third extra session, and then finally clinched the marathon victory by stealing the ball from Jordan Farmar.
With Kevin Durant missing the game due to a knee injury, Westbrook scored 38 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and dished out nine assists.
Westbrook made two free throws with 2 seconds left in regulation to give Oklahoma City a 93-90 lead but Anthony Morrow beat the buzzer with a 3-pointer to force overtime.
Westbrook scored the final points of the first extra period with 23 seconds left and Jeff Green kept the game alive for the Thunder at the end of the second overtime by making three free throws with 4 seconds to go. Green had been fouled by Stephen Graham on a 3-point attempt.
Green scored 37 for Oklahoma City, which won for the third time in four games.
Farmar, starting in place of the injured Devin Harris, had a career-best 28 points. New Jersey has dropped four out of five.
