ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Cam Fowler and Jason Blake scored and Jonas Hiller got his first shutout of the season Monday in the Anaheim Ducks' 2-0 win over Los Angeles.
Fowler's power-play goal midway through the second period put the Ducks ahead 1-0. It stayed that way until 2:24 was left in the game, when Blake got a feed from Teemu Selanne off a Kings turnover and beat Jonathan Quick with a high shot.
Hiller made a big save on Anze Kopitar less than a minute before Blake's goal, maintaining Anaheim's slim lead. The Ducks' netminder turned aside all 27 shots he saw in notching his seventh career whitewash.
Quick took the hard-luck loss, stopping 17-of-19 shots for Los Angeles, which lost its fourth straight and seventh in eight games.
