BALTIMORE, Nov. 28 (UPI) -- Joe Flacco tossed a pair of second-quarter touchdowns and the Baltimore Ravens used a tough defense Sunday to defeat Tampa Bay 17-10.
Flacco found Todd Heap on a 65-yard scoring strike and Derrick Mason on a 10-yard TD toss less than 3 minutes apart shortly before halftime, giving the Ravens a 17-3 lead at the break.
Baltimore's defense, meanwhile, shut the Bucs down on 263 total yards.
Flacco went 25-of-35 passes and was intercepted once for the Ravens (8-3), who also got 85 rushing and 47 receiving yards from Ray Rice in the victory, which allowed them to stay tied with Pittsburgh atop the AFC North.
Tampa Bay signal-caller Josh Freeman connected on only 17-of-37 passes for 162 yards and a touchdown.
The Buccaneers (7-4) fell to 0-4 against teams over .500.
