NHL: Vancouver 6, San Jose 1

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Mikael Samuelsson padded a Vancouver onslaught with two goals Friday, sending the Canucks sailing past San Jose 6-1.

Vancouver scored five times over the final two periods to win its second straight after losing its previous four games. San Jose won its first three road contests this season, but has lost its last six.

Roberto Luongo made 32 saves in the victory. Antti Niemi gave up all six goals on 32 shots.

Raffi Torres broke a 1-1 tie 2:36 into the second period and Samuelsson put Vancouver in control by scoring the next two goals, his fifth and sixth of the season.
