Roberto Luongo made 32 saves in the victory. Antti Niemi gave up all six goals on 32 shots.

Raffi Torres broke a 1-1 tie 2:36 into the second period and Samuelsson put Vancouver in control by scoring the next two goals, his fifth and sixth of the season.
