COL FB: Maryland 38, North Carolina St. 21

COLLEGE PARK, Md., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- Danny O'Brien amassed 417 yards and four touchdowns through the air Saturday in Maryland's 38-21 decision over No. 23 North Carolina State.

Torrey Smith caught all four of O'Brien's scoring passes, making 14 grabs in all for a career-best 224 yards for the Terrapins (8-4, 5-3 ACC), who denied the Wolfpack the ACC Atlantic Division title.

D.J. Adams also notched a rushing touchdown for Maryland.

North Carolina State (8-4, 5-3) benefited from 311 yards and two TDs from Russell Wilson, who completed 31-of-60 passes.

James Washington gained 101 yards with a touchdown reception and Owen Spencer also scored for the Wolfpack.
