COL BKB: Ohio State 66, Miami (Ohio) 45

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 26 (UPI) -- A 21-point performance by David Lighty and a strong defensive showing Friday carried No. 3 Ohio State to an easy 66-45 victory over Miami (Ohio).

Lighty made all four of his 3-point shots in the second half and took part in his 100th win during his stay at Ohio State. The Buckeyes improved to 5-0 while holding the RedHawks to 29 percent shooting.

Ohio made only 15 field goals for the entire game, five of which came from long range.

Deshaun Thomas added 15 points and five rebounds off the bench for Ohio State, which made as many 3-pointers (eight) as it did free throws.

Ohio (2-4) was paced by Orlando Williams with 13 points. The RedHawks have lost three times to ranked opponents this year.
