COL BKB: Kansas St. 84, Texas Southern 60

Nov. 26, 2010 at 10:49 PM

MANHATTAN, Kan., Nov. 26 (UPI) -- Jacob Pullen was one of a dozen Kansas State players to score Friday and the No. 4 Wildcats steamrolled Texas Southern 84-60.

Texas Southern managed just 11 points over the first 13 minutes of the game and Kansas State easily bounced back from a 20-point loss on Tuesday to top-ranked Duke.

Pullen scored 16 points and Chris Kelly had 13 off the bench for the Wildcats (5-1).

Texas Southern (1-5) was led by Lawrence Johnson-Danner with 18 points. As they often do, the Tigers have begun the season with a difficult schedule. None of their six games thus far have been played at home.
