ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Orlando Coach Stan Van Gundy said Wednesday that Lakers Coach Phil Jackson shouldn't "second guess" the job performance of Miami boss Erik Spoelstra.

Van Gundy was reacting to Jackson's comments this week that Spoelstra's job could be in danger due to the Heat's poor start with newly-obtained superstar forward LeBron James.

Jackson said Tuesday that he could see former Lakers coach and now Miami General Manager Pat Riley coming down from the front office to coach the team, the Los Angeles Times reported.

That riled Orlando's Van Gundy, who told the newspaper Wednesday, "To second-guess another coach and comment on a situation he knows nothing about, I think, it's inappropriate and it's also ignorant."

The Magic mentor's words came as a bit of a surprise because even though the two teams met in the 2009 NBA Finals, there had never been any seeming friction between them, the Times said.
