
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 24 (UPI) -- Lamar Odom and Shannon Brown both had 21 points to lead the Los Angeles Lakers to a 98-91 win over the visiting Chicago Bulls Tuesday.
Kobe Bryant added 20 points and Pau Gasol had 10 for the Lakers, who hit 10 3-pointers and won their fifth consecutive game.
Los Angeles led by one at the start of the fourth quarter but outscored the Bulls 24-18 in the final period to nail down the win. A 17-2 run that included four 3-point buckets put the defending NBA champions in control.
Derrick Rose led the Bulls with 30 points, eight assists and five rebounds. Joakim Noah had 19 points and 13 rebounds. Taj Gibson also chalked up a double-double in the losing effort with 16 points and a dozen boards.
The Lakers led 51-49 at halftime after Brown scored 15 points in the second quarter.
