LOS ANGELES, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Eric Gordon netted 27 points and Blake Griffin added 24 Monday in the Los Angeles Clippers' 99-95 win over New Orleans.

Griffin pulled down 13 rebounds and Al-Farouq Aminu added 16 points for the Clippers, who broke a nine-game losing streak and raised their season's record to 2-13.

Los Angeles also ended a 14-game losing streak to the Hornets with the rare victory.

Brian Cook's free throw with 13 seconds left put the Clippers up 91-90. David West and Trevor Ariza each missed shots in the closing seconds that could have won or tied the game for the Hornets.

West led all scorers with 30 points and Chris Paul and Marco Belinelli each chipped in with 14 points in New Orleans' loss.
