Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24
PITTSBURGH, Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Ashton Gibbs and Brad Wanamaker teamed up for 37 points Tuesday in No. 5 Pittsburgh's 74-53 victory over Robert Morris.
Gibbs notched a game-high 20 points and Wanamaker added seven rebounds and seven assists for the Panthers (6-0), who broke a close game open with a 14-2 run midway through the second half.
Gary McGhee contributed 11 points and 12 rebounds and Pittsburgh got 11 points from Gilbert Brown in the win.
Robert Morris (2-2) was led by Russell Johnson's 15 points.
The Colonials couldn't find the right touch from the floor, shooting just 30.9 percent in the setback.
