COL BKB: Butler 70, Siena 57

ALBANY, N.Y., Nov. 23 (UPI) -- Matt Howard canned 17 points and No. 23 Butler shot 50 percent in the second half Tuesday to dispatch Siena 70-57.

Howard grabbed 12 rebounds and Shawn Vanzant contributed 12 points for Butler (3-1), which used their shooting accuracy to extend a 37-29 halftime lead.

The Bulldogs went 4-for-7 from 3-point territory in the late going and got 35 points from their reserves to help ice the win.

Ryan Rossiter pumped in 26 points and hauled down 15 rebounds for Siena (1-3).
