NHL: Columbus 2, Nashville 0

COLUMBUS, Ohio, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Rick Nash continued his hot streak Monday, notching a goal and sparking the Columbus Blue Jackets to a 2-0 win over Nashville.

Nash registered a point in his ninth straight game, a span in which he has scored 10 goals, earning him the NHL's No. 1 Star for the week ending Nov. 21.


Steve Mason stopped 27 shots, collecting his 16th career shutout, and R.J. Umberger, Nikita Filatov, Jakub Voracek and Derick Brassard all notched assists in the win, the fourth straight for the Blue Jackets.

Pekka Rinne turned aside 28 of the 30 shots he faced for Nashville.
