Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Pau Gasol was perfect from the field and the free-throw line Sunday in the Los Angeles Lakers' 117-89 victory over Golden State.
Gasol went 10-for-10 from the field and was 8-for-8 at the foul line en route to 28 points for the Lakers, who took their fourth consecutive win and downed the Warriors for the 11th straight time. Gasol also hauled down nine rebounds.
Kobe Bryant popped in 20 points and Shannon Brown chipped in with 17 for the victors.
Golden State was led by Dorell Wright's 16 points. Stephen Curry and Jeremy Lin each added 13 in the Warriors' fourth loss in five games.
