COL BKB: Vanderbilt 72, North Carolina 65

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- John Jenkins, Festus Ezeli and Jeffery Taylor combined for 46 points Sunday in Vanderbilt's 72-65 upset of No. 8 North Carolina.

Jenkins scored 16 points and Ezeli and Taylor each chipped in 15 as the Commodores (3-1) knocked off the Tar Heels in the consolation game of the Puerto Rico Tip-Off.

Jenkins cleaned up at the foul line, hitting 10-of-12 for Vanderbilt.

North Carolina (2-2) dropped its second straight game in San Juan after falling to Minnesota Friday.

Tyler Zeller led the Tar Heels with 20 points.
