MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Matt Barnes finished with 24 points, seven rebounds and six assists Friday and the Los Angeles Lakers held Kevin Love scoreless in a 112-95 win over Minnesota.
Barnes was 7-of-7 from the field -- hitting five 3-point shots -- and made all five of his free throws to help the Lakers post their 13th consecutive win over the Timberwolves. Kobe Bryant scored 23 and Pau Gasol had 16 points and 14 rebounds in the Lakers' third straight win overall.
Love, who was coming off of two straight double-doubles -- managed just seven rebounds for Minnesota, which last beat the Lakers in March 2007.
Darko Milicic scored a career-high 23 points to go with 16 rebounds and six blocked shots for the Timberwolves, who have lost three of their last four games.
