COL BKB: Duke 110, Colgate 58

DURHAM, N.C., Nov. 19 (UPI) -- Kyle Singler scored 18 points Friday and No. 1 Duke put together a massive second half to crush Colgate 110-58.

Duke's three victories thus far this year have come by 37, 34 and 52 points. The first two routs were against Princeton and Miami (Ohio).

Singler played only 22 minutes and made just 5-of-16 shots from the field but he converted 7-of-8 from the foul line.

Nolan Smith and Andre Dawkins both had 16 for the Blue Devils, who forced 24 turnovers and limited Colgate to 21 field goals in 68 shots.

Colgate (0-3) was led by Yaw Gyawu with nine points and six rebounds.

Duke led by 18 points at the half, and then scored 66 points in the second period.
