Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

ORLANDO, Fla., Nov. 18 (UPI) -- Dwight Howard helped Orlando pile up a huge lead Thursday and the Magic breezed to a 105-89 decision over shorthanded Phoenix.
The Suns had to compete without starting point guard Steve Nash (strained groin) and starting center Robin Lopez (sprained knee).
Orlando won its third straight, with Howard scoring 20 points and claiming 12 rebounds. Jameer Nelson had 15 points and 12 assists as part of Orlando's 54-percent shooting effort.
Grant Hill led Phoenix with 21 points.
The Magic set the tone in the first period with a 13-point run and took a 16-point advantage after the opening 12 minutes. Phoenix was never a factor after that, falling behind by as many as 32 points at the end of three quarters.
