Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

MADISON, Wis., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Jon Leuer scored 22 points and was one of five Wisconsin players in double-figures Tuesday in the 25th-ranked Badgers' 85-53 drubbing of North Dakota State.
Leuer hit 6-of-10 shots from the field and was perfect in eight tries from the free throw line.
Keaton Nankivil added 17 for the Badgers and Ryan Evans scored 11 off the bench. Tim Jarmusz and Jordan Taylor scored 10 apiece.
The Badgers shot 62 percent from the field to North Dakota's 38.3 percent and led 41-21 at halftime. They out-rebounded the Fighting Sioux 30-19.
Reserve Troy Huff led North Dakota State with 21 points and three rebounds. Patrick Mitchell was the only starter in double figures with 11 points.
