Vikings' Asher Allen retires at age 24

VILLANOVA, Pa., Nov. 17 (UPI) -- Antonio Pena scored 17 points and No. 7 Villanova made 55 percent of its shots from the field Wednesday in downing Boston University 82-66.
The win came in the second round of the NIT Season Tip-Off and moved the Wildcats (3-0) into the semifinals against UCLA. Villanova and the Bruins will meet next week.
Pena made 7-of-9 from the floor and Corey Fisher added 16 points. Maalik Wayns had 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Boston University (1-2) got 14 points from John Holland and 13 from Jake O'Brien.
Villanova held the Terriers without a point over the final 3 minutes of the first half and took a 40-24 lead at the break.
