
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Nov. 15 (UPI) -- Stephen Jackson and Gerald Wallace each pumped in 26 points Monday. leading the Charlotte Hornets to their first home win, 113-110 over Minnesota.
Tyrus Thomas contributed 20 points and 10 rebounds, and D.J. Augustin added nine points and 11 assists for the Bobcats, who had lost their first four at home.
Michael Beasley scored with 34 seconds left to put Minnesota up by a point at 110-109, but Wallace made three free throws down the stretch to let Charlotte eke out the win.
Wesley Johnson missed two potential game-tying foul shots with 3 seconds left for the Timberwolves, who got 28 points from Beasley while dropping their sixth in eight games.
Darko Milicic scored 13 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for Minnesota.
